Sick and sicker

Well we just can't get better at our house. Chase started off with shingles a few weeks ago and he is actually better now. But, Belle and Brooke just haven't been getting better, so, I took them to the Dr. last night. Turns out that Belle has a sinus infection and an ear infection and Brooke has RSV and a double ear infection. So, they are both on antibiotics and Brooke has to use the nubulizer for 4 days. Hopefully they will start to feel better soon, I could really use some sleep!

Belle LOVES you tube!

While looking at our blog Belle said that she liked the song that was playing, of course it was a Taylor Swift song. So, I pulled up you-tube and let her see the music video, she LOVED it. I was busy ironing a month long pile of clothes and she sat at the computer and clicked on all the different songs. Usually if i want music playing I have to go back and forth clicking on a new song. Finally, someone in this house appreciates Taylor as much as I do! Her favorite video is "You belong with me". She is definately growing up tooo fast.

I was talking to her about her school pictures and she told me she stood by her friend Exander. I told her that he was such a cute boy, and she said, "but I saw him first."

Happy Birthday to Belle!

Belle turned 5, (cannot believe she is 5). She had a fun birthday though, her grandparents and a few aunts,uncles, and cousins came over for cake and ice cream. On her birhtday she got to go out with the family to eat at a restaurant, and then on presidents day I took the kids to the classic fun center. So, she just had tons of fun turning 5. She is very excited to go to school with Chase this fall and cannot wait.

Thailand clothes for the kids

A woman that Zach works with has family in Thailand. She went to visit around Christmas and since Zach always works on her car she brought back all of us some cute clothes. I guess we will have to get a picture of Zach and I in our clothes too.

What are the Hamblin kids up to?

Well, the kids are up to everything it seems. Chase is obsessed with Star Wars recentley and he came home sick from school today. So, he was building a C-3P0 in his room all afternoon, isn't it soo cute! Belle is really sick the poor thing. She was sick a couple weeks ago and the Dr. thought she had strep, so she was on antibiotics until last Sat. She woke up Monday morning with a fever, it's now Thursday and she is still running a fever?? I might have to take her back tomorrow I guess. Yes, there's a picture of her sick. (She didn't want to be left out) Then there is Brooke, who is always busy destroying something or making a mess somewhere it seems. Her new obsession is the toilet. If the door is left open this is how I find her, the stool pushed up to the toilet with the little potty seat on and her trying to get up. She has to sit on the potty about four times a day. Hopefully this means she'll potty train early.

Brookie, Kittens, and sewing.

When Zach is working at night homework is extremely stressfull for me. Usually, the stress is caused by one little Brookie not letting me help Chase. She believes she has to be up at the table and pulling at his paper or finding a crayon or pencil and coloring on it. So, tonight Chase was reading his homework with me over on the couch and I kept hearing a thump, thump, noise. This is what I turned around to. Not a great activity but we got Chase's homework done quietly. Her face is so serious about the project. She is a determined little baby. Then she got a bumblebee pillow pet for christmas and she loves to ride it around the house, with the help of Zach or I. This is her telling us she is ready for Barry the Bee to take her for a ride.

Santa must have had a return after Christmas and thought we needed one more gift. We came home Christmas night and found a little stray kitten waiting for us. She is a very sweet kitty and our kids love her. Chase drew a picture of "Charlee". He really is a good artist, just like his dad. He draws all sorts of things.
