Update on Halloween
So, Chase talked us into going trick or treating for a little while, they didn't even go to that many houses and made out really well. They had tons of candy. I was glad that they went. Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

Happy Halloween
Here are the kids all dressed up, but no where to go. We are all just barely getting over a terrible case of the swine flu. Everyone but little Brooke got it. We have been in and out of hospitals and clinics all week making sure that the kids are okay, it is kind of a scary illness. Anyway, the kids are all excited today and wanted to put on their costumes, they actually had the energy too. So, I thought I might as well take pictures. Here they are: Chase is Optimus Prime, Belle is Snow White, and Brookie is a cute little flower.

Blessing Brooke Lynn
We blessed Brooke on Sept. 6th. She looked so beautiful in her blessing dress. My Grandmother June made her dress and booties and it is just gorgeous.
It was an awesome experience in sacrament because a lot of our families bore their testimonies. It really made me miss my parents, they would have loved hearing the powerful testimonies that make up Zach and I's family. I couldn't have asked for better family support and examples to my kids. Zach gave her an awesome blessing, we were worried that she would cry because she was awake and being a little fussy. Zach said that she was making noise, but all I heard was the blessing. I can't believe the love and renewed sense of family that came with having her. I have always loved my family and kids but, there is a deeper importance now that wasn't there before.
Shortly after I had Belle I would dream of a little dark haired baby girl, and I just knew that I had a least one more baby girl coming to our home, I just didn't know the circumstances that she would have to face so early on in her little life with us. I am so grateful for the priesthood and the willingness of Zach's brother to go with us to the NICU to give her a blessing. It was a very emotional time for us and to have a big brother step in to bless her was awesome. We love our families and hope they know that.

School and Haircuts, Oh My!
Well, Chase had his first day of school, ( kind of )He had orientation and then we came home and he will take a test one other day this week. So, he will officially start school next week. He is very excited.

Chase also got a haircut the night before, and Belle wanted her hair cut as well. So, to keep her feeling like she was as important as Chase, Zach cut her hair. While I bathed Chase I was quite surprised at how short her hair was cut. I was expecting a small trim, not a chop! But, she likes it and after I styled it, I like it too. Except she looks older.

"Baby slings R Us" or Not!
Well, many of you know that I am not too crafty. But, since I have two girls now I decided I had better learn a few things. I made Brooke a little bow for her hair and was quite impressed with how well it actually turned out. So, I have been really wanting a baby sling lately and was not willing to shell out mega $$ for one. So, with the loving help of my very awesome and crafty husband, I now have a sling and so far Brooke loves it.
Which will make Chase and Belle happy. I now have my two hands to once again, open the never ending supply of Popsicle's we always have at our house and to look for the lost toy (or piece of a toy)of the day.
P.S. Please don't mention to Zach that you know he helped me sew the sling. He actually did the hardest part that I could not do, and he also got the sewing machine all geared up for me to use! He's the best!
Please do not judge the photographer of these pictures. He is a up and coming photographer with a lot to learn. He is only five but, has been taking pictures since he was three. Usually they are of Spiderman or Transformers, he is trying to branch out a little. :)
